Our biggest ally, Vitamin C
Vitamin C strengthens our immune system and protects us from free radicals (coming from toxic substances in the environment and UV rays). They rush the aging process of our body, and Vitamin C fights with this. The second task of this substance is to oversee the production of hormones.
To remove excess fat our body uses vitamin C. Thus, if we do not have enough reserves in the body we are unable to lose weight. Besides the fact that vitamin C is essential in the processes of fat cells removal, it helps us in other ways: it keeps our skin stretched, clean, young and it maintains the fresh look, after a drastic diet.
How much Vitamin C do we really need?
[singlepic id=546 h=150 float=left]The doctors recommend a daily dose somewhere between 500 mg and 3 grams per day. If you want to lose weight, a DRD would be around 1 gram.
We can get vitamin C from the following: eating daily fresh fruits and vegetables, not boiled. We find large amounts of vitamin C in: kiwi, oranges, lemons, strawberries, grapefruit, cabbage, peas and apples. Another way to eat a sufficient amount of vitamin C daily is by adding the juice from a squeezed lemon in your water. It would be great if you could also add the pulp.
Another way you can get the DRD of Vitamin C would be medications, candies, and any other juices with added Vit. C.
