Place the bowl in a shallow pan of boiling water and heat, stirring occasionally until the wax melts. Remove the bowl and let it cool to room temperature. It will thicken and become cloudy as it cools.
In a blender or small food processor combine Aloe Vera and rose water. Add the cooled oil and blend on high speed until it becomes thick and cloudy.
Add sandalwood and rose essential oils and blend mixture into colored glass jar.
Apply a very small amount on your face every evening instead of your usual moisturizer. If you have very dry skin you may wish to use this also in the morning.

Take half a liter of buttermilk or half a liter of beaten curds. Take half a cupful of oats that are in thick powdered form. Add to curd or butter milk. Mix well. Pour in a container and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Apply this thick paste all over the body starting from the neck downwards, to the arms, torso and legs. Leave it for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water containing lemon juice. This body scrub recipe reduces pores and cleans up the skin.
Take half cup of any kind of lentil. Soak for half an hour. Drain out the water. Coarse grind it to a paste. Add a tablespoon of chickpea powder with just enough milk to make a thick paste. Apply all over the forehead, face, neck. Keep rubbing in circular motion to remove dead skin and clear blemishes. This body scrub recipe is an ideal for very tender skin.
