What Causes Cellulite Appearance?

Cellulite represents fat cell inflammation associated with cellular fluid, swelling, and increase of fat cell volume.

Cellulite is manifested by unaesthetic skin appearance, the well known “orange peel” can be observed if you catch the skin between two fingers and create pressure. It usually occurs on hips, knees, thighs and buttocks.

When does cellulite appear?

In 12% cases cellulite occurs during puberty, 25% are due to the use of contraceptives, 20% – during and after pregnancy and 25% of cases during the menopause. Thus we can say that cellulite occurs frequently during “hormonal explosion”.

Who Is Guilty for Cellulite Appearance After All?

Loss of the usual healthy, strong, appearance of our skin, subcutaneous swelling and breaking of cells, are caused by a number of causes and most important are:

  • Poor blood circulation in the specific area
  • Accumulation of excess fluids, water and in fat tissues
  • Heavy presence of toxins in fluids retained subcutaneously
  • Accumulation of subcutaneous excessive fat mass, in certain specific areas of the body
  • Hormonal imbalance and excess of estrogen – female-specific hormones
  • Physical inactivity or low physical movement
  • The long standing or sitting on the seat, that some professions involve
  • A weak or disharmonious sex life, with harmful effects on hormone production
  • Emotional stress, dietary patterns and obesity. More useful information HERE.

There Are 4 Stages of Cellulite Formation:

Stage I:

At first skin tone decreases significantly and subcutaneous tissue becomes less compact.

Stage II:

The appearance of orange peel is clearer without tightening the skin and you can observe it especially when lying down. Small holes occur on the surface of your skin.

Stage III:

At this stage many women hate their bodies. A more extensive area of skin gets a repulsive appearance – with a variety of subcutaneous nodules, bumps and holes.

Stage IV (severe Cellulite):

Finally, the skin gets the look of small humps and destroys skin appearance for good. Thighs and legs begin to look like dough in which we created many many holes using our fingers.

If you’re looking for the best way to get rid of cellulite, you’re probably looking at the anti cellulite creams options and other popular methods. Possibly you’ve even considered professional cellulite treatments as well. Many women try product after product and still can’t seem to find the solution.

Among the most recent innovations in reducing cellulite is clothes-reducing cellulite and related accessories. These are popular because they are not expensive and offer great results. Such products include compression hosiery, cellulite shorts and even specially designed shoes. But the real question is, do they actually reduce cellulite?

Like so many cellulite remedies on the market, these types of products rarely work for lasting results.
