The role model for Spring-Summer 2009 seems to be the monochromatic theme. Why is that?! Because very important fashion designers used black and white to create the whole collection. They were helped by metal, strange textures and, of course, some accents of strong colors.

All black vestments express, first of all, trust in you (not to mention the thing that helps us hiding the extra-pounds). For a casual outfit select a black T-shirt, that fits as you best, and combine it with a trashy pair of jeans and sneakers.

If you want a more sophisticated look choose a pencil type skirt and combine it with what high heels  or a pair of leather or latex pants and simple singlet. Your black bag would be ideal to have chains or targets.

Regarding the trend “white”, it remains in vogue the eternal simple white shirt, with different lengths, and a simple thin belt (or a larger one, depends on your body shape). Also, the white skirts, bell-shaped, like those presented by Chanel – spring 2009 – remain in trend. But extra care in choosing white, this color demand to be maintained always perfect clean and, unfortunately, does not hide imperfections, like black does!
