Blackheads are small bumps that appear on your skin due to clogged hair follicles. These bumps are called “blackheads” because the surface looks dark or black. Blackheads are a mild type of acne that usually forms on the face, but they can also appear on the back, chest, neck, arms, and shoulders. If you have blackheads on your face, it’s not the end of the world.
You can remove them with a face mask, but they can be really expensive, so let’s try to DIY them!
So, Here Are 5 Methods of DIY Face Blackheads – Nuke Them!
Honey and Cinnamon
Mix some honey and cinnamon until you have a paste. Put the mixture in a thin layer on your affected area, and then place a strip of clean cotton over it. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, and after that rinse it.
Egg White
This one is my favorite – it’s a quick one!
Take a bowl and put the egg white into it and whisk it very well. Then apply the mixture wherever you have blackheads. On top of one coat of egg white place a tissue paper and press it gently.
Then apply another coat of egg white mixture on the tissue and leave it until it dries off. When it’s done, gently peel off the tissue paper. The blackheads will be gone!
Milk and Gelatin
In a bowl mix 1 tsp of milk and 1 tsp of gelatin. Heat the mixture in microwave for 5 second, and then mix. Let it cool a bit, and then you can apply the mixture with a brush on your skin. Leave it for 15-20 minutes, then peel off. It’s really simple!
Sugar
Yes, a sugar scrub will do all the hard work for you! You will need just some sugar and olive oil, mix them together and exfoliate the skin. Exfoliating is very important: it remove the dead skin cells. It also temporarily revives circulation and it leaves you with a healthy glow and soft skin.
Activated Charcoal
Activated charcoal is similar to common charcoal, but is made specifically for medicinal use. Activated charcoal is used to treat poisonings, intestinal gas, nausea, and bile flow issues (cholestasis) during pregnancy. But activated charcoal also works wonders for the skin when applied topically: it keeps skin clear by acting as a magnet to draw dirt out of pores.
You will need 2 capsules of activated charcoal and 2tsp of water. Mix the ingredients and put the mixture on your face, then leave it until dry. Peel off the mask, and you are good to go!
DIY Blackhead Face Masks Are a Lot Cheaper and Sometimes More Efficient Than SPA Versions
Ok, I really hope that all of these will help you out, because nobody wants to spend a lot of money in a spa!
