How to Stop and Control Hair Fall Naturally?

I’m sure you didn’t know that. But now if you look at your hair, you might get teary-eyed because your hair is in bad condition. And that tells you that you’re not healthy overall. At this stage of life, we all take our hair for granted and do not get shocked when we see more hair on our pillows and comb than on our head. And the fact that stressing about hair fall increases it has scared us to death. So what we do? We stop bothering at all because nothing seems to be working.

Did you know what mistake we commit while trying to control our hair fall and take care of our mane? We play the blame game and never try to find the root of the problem. The blame is on our shampoos and conditioners. But frequently changing the shampoos and conditioners does more damage than you can imagine. Not always is it our shampoos fault that we have severe hair fall. It could be due to the work stress you take or the junk you relish. Yes, we are what we eat, and the junk is no good.

A healthy diet not only helps in nourishing the scalp but also controls the hair fall to a great extent and improves the quality of your hair. Watch what you eat. Foods rich in vitamins, iron, and protein are a must when you are trying to alter the way your hair looks and feels. So try to include more fruits and vegetables in your diet, and you will see a considerable change.

Apart from the internal care, the external care is also crucial. There are tons of hair masks and other hair care products available in the market outside. But you don’t know how genuine they are and if they are the right things for your hair. So it is better you take the hair care in your hands and look after your hair.

Here are a few tips and tricks and home remedies to stop and control hair fall at home and take care of your hair like never before.

Washing and Drying

Your hair needs to be frequently cleaned, to help avoid clogging pores and building up of dirt. For dry hair, wash them 2 to 3 times a week and for oily scalp and hair, wash them 3 to 4 times a week. Use shampoo which is free from sulfur and paraben. Conditioning your hair is imperative to avoid breakage and frizziness.

When drying your hair, make sure you do not rub them against each other. Always pat dry your hair and then leave them to dry naturally. Overdoing the use of blow dryers and straighteners can give you irreversible damage.

Moisturizing and Deep Conditioning

It is crucial to moisturize and deep condition your hair at least once a week. You can use a store-bought product or make a hair mask at home. For conditioning, use a concoction of 5 oils, mixed in equal quantities, namely coconut oil, castor oil, almond oil, olive oil and lavender essential oil. Leave this mixture on the hair for 4 hours before you shampoo and condition.

Egg to Nourish the Hair

Egg whites can help you keep all your hair problems at bay for good. Egg whites are the best sources of proteins and are ideal for nourishing your hair. Using egg whites hair mask will leave your hair smooth, soft and lustrous and will also take away the damage you have been doing to your shaft.

For nourishing your hair with egg whites, whisk the white of one egg with one tablespoon each of olive oil and honey. Stir it well and apply on your scalp thoroughly. Once applied, wear a shower cap and leave it on for about 30 to 45 minutes. Wash and condition as usual.

While eating better and not using heat frequently on your hair can stop and control further damaging, these simple home remedies will help you take away the years of damage you have caused. But remember that nothing works overnight. Regular and religious use of these treatments will show results on your hair and a continuous use will end the hair problems you have been fighting for a long time.
