Drink a Water With a Slice of Lemon Immediately After Wake-Up, in the Morning

I put a reminder on my phone, 10 minutes after the wake-up alarm that says: “drink one glass of water with lemon” and it works. It leaves me enough time to wash my teeth – that way I’m not drinking the water with all the bacteria from last night.

And lemon is a well known antioxidant, it boosts your immune system and the energy level.

Set a Number of Glasses Daily and Stick to It

Jot down the number of glasses you drank daily. Make them at least 8, the rest of water you may extract from other daily meals or fluids.

Buy a Can That You Love and Use It for Refills

You like that cup you brought in Greece, last year? Or that sport can you use it at the gym? Use whatever you like to pour your liquid into!

Get an App to Remind You to Drink More Water

There are even apps that remind you to drink more water: Waterlogged on iOS or Water Drink Reminder on Android.

Flavor the Water With Fresh Fruits or Lemon

Drinking just water can be boring, water is tasteless. So, upgrade it with some flavour! Use my trick: I buy frozen fruits and store them in the freezer. Daily, I cut a piece from that block and put it in a jar and fill with water, but you can put it directly in the filtration pitcher if you like your tap water. Immediately the icy fruits will melt and release the flavours. Trust me, in the summer time, that fruity drink is pure heaven!

Squeeze a Glass of Water Every Time You Do a Routinely Task

Maybe right after you brush your teeth in the morning and evening, or maybe right after you get to work. If you link a cup of water to daily tasks, in time you will likely remind yourself to drink water every time you do that task.

Use a Straw

Believe it or not, many say that if you drink the water with a straw, you end up drinking more water than just one cup at a time. Try this and tell me in the comments if it works for you!

Eat More High-Water-Content Foods

There a lot of foods that contain a high quantity of liquids: cucumbers, Iceberg letucce, celery, radishes, and so on.

If Your Stomach Affords, Eat More Spicy Food

The logic goes like this: if you eat more spicy foods, you drink more water. Also, spicy foods can help you with your diet. If your stomach agrees with that, of course 😉

Make a Ritual of Drinking Green Tea Instead of Coffee

Make 2-3 cups of green tea a day, not black tea or coffee, as they contain caffeine – and caffeine dehydrates your body. Also, green tea is a boost for your energy levels and also improves the immune system.

There were my 10 tips for drinking more water, let me feedback on the comments below about your tricks on the subject.
